The Row Resort 2012 Collection
The Row Resort 2012 collection takes you back to the 1940s, incorporating crisp tailored suits and cropped pants, throwing in a few airy dresses into the mix of modest whites, blacks, blues, and greens. The twin’s take on the season’s maritime vibe is an homage to the Luchino Visconti film Death in Venice.
“We included a lot of cotton,” according to Ashley Olsen, “because we wanted things to feel clean and fresh” — as a resort collection should be (minus the frumpy “robe” that we assume Mary-Kate threw in there).
